The Big 3-1

I had a great birthday! Allen let me sleep in late. I awoke to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Nora singing "Happy Birthday", doughnuts and a new shelf for my shoes! Jori came over to watch the girls in the afternoon so Allen and I could have a date -aka - running errands. But we had much fun. It's so nice to just be together alone. We held hands, stopped for random kisses and even took the opportunity to have our photos taken at a little kiosk.
(too bad we didn't know when the camera was actually taking the pictures - which should explain the last three shots)
My parents and Jori & Chad had dinner with us. Coneys, fries and a coconut birthday cake! My parents got me an awesome gift. A no-gravity lounge chair. Soooo comfy!!! I'm actually going to go lay out in the sunshiney weather in it as soon as I post this. Then Annie came over and we watched Glee b/c she hadn't seen it yet. It was even better than the first time!!!
The bday celebrations are continuing today. Nora and I went to the salon and I got my hair cut and colored. Nora got a badly needed bang cut - it's soooo cute! And tonight is my big "surprise" party! I can't wait!!! I will be sure to take lots of pics and blog about it tomorrow. So far I am loving 31!
